The Anatomy of Deception: How Two “Academics” Turn “Islamophobia” into Ideological Warfare
By Khaled Salih

Summary: When ideology masquerades as scholarship, truth becomes its first casualty – and a nation’s self-defence its second. In The Islamist Labeling of Muslim CSOs, Anna Ardin and Mattias Irving don the cloaks of academia to perform a grand inversion: they transform Sweden’s legitimate inquiry into Islamist subversion into a morality tale of state oppression. The result is not an enlightening study, but a strategic act of rhetorical sabotage. By weaponising the language of tolerance and anti-racism, the authors present vigilance as bias and caution as “Islamophobia.” This short response distils how Ardin and Irving’s report operates: it deletes crucial context, distorts facts into “prejudice,” and generalises one security case into a universal indictment of government power. In doing so, it exemplifies what psychologist Gad Saad calls the “parasitic mind,” infecting public discourse with ideas that compel a society to lower its guard for fear of appearing intolerant. The full essay below systematically uncovers the Ardin–Irving report’s methods and arguments – exposing it as a masterclass in ideological deception that preys on the West’s own values to render it defenceless.
