The Books — Five Volumes, One Continuing Inquiry
What connects Kurdish political freedom, religious certainty, institutional failure, rational criticism, and the open future?
The books presented on OTHERWISE investigate how human beings create explanations, how some explanations become protected against criticism, and how knowledge and freedom can open possibilities that previously appeared closed.
The library brings together five volumes:
Kurdistanî Azad, co-authored with Ann-Catrin Emanuelsson; When Parochial Error Goes Global; Kurdistan—Let It Be, containing four interconnected books; BACKSPACE; and Chosen for What?
Each begins with a different problem. Together, they form an evolving intellectual investigation, open to criticism, correction, and improvement.
